The app will be used throughout the BREAST CANCER UNITE Festival and your participation on the app will also earn you points that can be redeemed for free products during and after the festival.

Kicking off the Fesitival with a special PINK RIBBON FOUNDATION DAY. The first event is a hair loss & support panel discussion featuring Vicky from Hair Reborn, Jasmin, Founder of Cancer Hair Care, and BOLD models. The BOLD Exhibition will be displayed in our gallery highlighting the beauty of those who have lost their hair due to treatment for breast cancer.

Laura Ashurst will help you explore how loving kindness meditation practice benefits our physical, emotional, and mental wellbeing by looking at the theory underpinning self-kindness and self-compassion, two of the cornerstones of mindfulness practice.

Regular use of loving-kindness techniques in daily life can gently increase the output of endorphins, serotonin, and oxytocin, helping to boost immunity and strengthen self-connection. During the session, participants will be guided in a Loving Kindness meditation practice that is readily transferable into everyday living.
